Steps of the body, words of the heart

Meet at 8:45 p.m. at the large parking lot of the Loppiano Auditorium.

On Good Friday night, Loppiano offers “Way of Passion, steps of the body, words of the heart.” Through installations, reflections, prayers, and gestures, we will retrace the steps and sufferings of Jesus of Nazareth as he climbs toward Calvary, where the Cross awaits him, those of Mary, his mother, and the apostles. This is not the traditional Way of the Cross but an experiential journey through the town immersed in night, discovering the Christian meaning of pain, searching for the bond that unites the pain of every woman and every man with that experienced by Christ during his Passion.

To fully participate in the experience, the organizers recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a flashlight and a permanent marker.
