Tv2000, on the occasion of the centenary of Chiara Lubich’s birth, Wednesday, January 22, at 11pm and Saturday, January 25, at 10am, will broadcast the documentary “Essere fuoco” (Being fire). The title, Tv2000 explains, wants to recall “the fervor and warmth of the Focolare”.

The narrative concerns the traits which are considered the most original and current of Chiara Lubich’s message i.e.the ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, politics at the service of the common good, and economy of communion based on the sharing of goods, not on profit. These three faces of a unique charism, because it is all feminine, take shape and vigor only from faith.

The Focolare Movement has made available to Tv2000 the very rich repertoire of images that narrate Chiara Lubich in her youth and womanhood..

There are many testimonies, including those of families, students and entrepreneurs from Loppiano, the first town of the Movement.

The documentary is by journalist Monica Mondo, edited by Cecilia Pronti, directed by Sofia Rinaldo. Click HERE to see the preview.
