During the “Time of Creation,” the citadel will host a weekend of integral ecology
On Sept. 23 and 24, Loppiano offers “Cheers to Summer, Harvest Time.”
It will be a weekend in nature, under the banner of integral ecology. The experience includes: a trek through woods and vineyards, fishing for children and families at the pond, wine tasting at the winery, dinner at the Villa of Tracolle, testimonies, insights and the opportunity to discuss environmental issues and sustainable lifestyles. An excellent opportunity to experience the Time of Creation (Sept. 1-Oct. 4), a time of prayer and action during which, Christians around the world come together to care for our common home.
The experience, suitable for all ages, is being offered in collaboration with Loppiano Prima Cooperative, Loppiano 4.0 Farm and A.P.S.D. Firenze Trout Lago. Fishing equipment will be provided by the organization but if you have some equipment you can bring them.
You can also participate by the day or book single activities.
