“We are (a) body. A reflection for this time” is the title of the last conference of the Wednesday evening webinars, organized by Lionello Bonfanti Industrial Park. It also wants to reflect civilly during this Lent so dramatically characterized by the Coronavirus pandemic. “I approach this theme with fear and tremor for three reasons,” explains Jesús Morán, co-president of the Focolare Movement and protagonist of the next online seminar. I am aware that we are now witnessing certain inflation of analysis and ideas; our intelligence shows a great precariousness in the face of a deep understanding of the real problem that afflicts us. Finally, the victims and the sick deserve respect, in the face of the pain of the other and the only possible and ethical attitude is compassion, in the literal sense of the word.

In this line, sickness and death are inexorable experiences to which we must either give meaning or admit that this meaning does not exist”.
